About Commissioner Ronnie Hawkins

Age 52, born in Kings Mountain, NC, married to Elizabeth for 28 years, member and elder of First Presbyterian Church, Kings Mountain, served on the Kings Mountain Board of Education for 11 years and the Cleveland County Board of Commissioners for the last    four  years. Ronnie is currently serving as vice-chairman of the Commission Board. In his professional life, he is a Funeral Director with Harris Funeral Home, where he has worked for 30 years.

What makes Ronnie Hawkins a great Commissioner for Cleveland County?

All of my adult life has been serving the community. I am very active in my church and community and I use this involvement as a way of communicating with the citizens of Cleveland County . It is my desire to make Cleveland County the best place to work and live.
